M.Sc. Mathematics

M. Sc. Mathematics is a two year postgraduate program. This program provides students with an inclusive education in classic and advanced areas of Mathematics.

Goals:

•    To mould professional mathematicians capable of promoting teaching and research in Mathematics.
•    To motivate students to pursue  research in Mathematics at renowned institutions.

Objectives:

•     To bridge the  gap between UG and research levels of Mathematics by familiarizing the students with advanced areas of Mathematics.
•    To expertise quality research and teaching through a learner centered curriculum involving projects, seminars, assignments and viva-voce.

Area of  Covarage   

This course covers the advanced areas of analysis, Geometry, Graph theory, Computational Mathematic, Operations Research, Algebra and Measure Theory.
